POST IT.. a new form of art

Never underestimate the power of simple office supplies. Mario has come to life!. Since a long time I had this project in mind. One day surfing the net, I found this "In the corporate world, climbing ladders and shaking hands run simultaneous. Between lunches, dinners, and meetings, something had to surface among the numbing UV lights of the office to keep everything in line. The Post-it Note, a small square with re-adhearable adhesive on the back, was one such answer. The three-inch bright yellow square was employed as a reminder, a note, or for organization... But some don't see it as only a productivity tool...they see it as a medium for colorful art."

So I venture in a new particular cheap way of doing art, Post-it art. As it is called, you can already figure what do you use in this kind of art, an everyday material , Post-it notes, of course. Only with post-it notes and free time(my mario was created before going on Christmas vacations, so I'm not saying that I'm not studying for the important English exam that I've tomorrow, haha), post-it notes that you find in many different colors, you can create many curious things and without any extremely complex difficult method, you just have to acomodate the figure you want to create to the cuadriculated form of the Post-it note and having it in your head or better in a paper in front of you, start putting the post-it notes on the wall and that's it, there's nothing more to it.

There's alot of creations you can bring to life with post-it notes from...

Elvis Presley

to..

a room decorated post-it style(haha)

but the best and majority of inspiration for this art come from old videogames because of their 8-bit pixel shape that fits incredibly well in the form of the post-it because pixels are cuadriculated as post-it notes, as you can deduce by now if you didn't now. For me, the inspiration came from the first Mario Bros videogame, it was easy to think in Mario because is an iconic character that was like the mesiah of videogames and fits perfectly in the style. Mine is a little example of what you can do in about an hour.

Now that you know post-it art too, no matter if you want to create a Jimmy Hendrix or a Megaman, let your imagination fly and GO CRAZY!
